Unlike cold water shrimp whose meat can be watery and sometimes bland, warm water Black Tiger Shrimp has a distinctly bold, sweet and firm textured meat that has earned them the honour of being called the ‘poor man’s lobster’. It is a highly flexible protein that can be used in many dishes, and adds a delightful flavour to all of them.
Storage: Keep frozen at -18 degrees Celsius. Good for up to 6 months when frozen.
To use: Place frozen fish or seafood in the chiller to thaw overnight, or remove from freezer at least 2-3 hours before use.
Instructions: Do not refreeze and to be consumed within 3 days from date of thawing.
